“It Is What It Is” and “It Was What It Was”
Got this done by Mariah Brum, a tattoo artist at Providence Tattoo in Rhode Island. I actually had to wait 5 months before she had a guest spot at Living Colour in Ottawa, ON, where I’m from. I loved her line work and it was well worth the wait! The reason behind it? They’re both such simple sets of words that help take the pressure of the shoulders. Some things can’t be helped so live through it, learn from it, and move forward.
